What keeps you crafting, what is it about craft that means you just can’t not craft?
A desire to challenge ourselves with creating something a little different, something that is functional and beautiful in it’s own way, something with a purpose.
That and we don’t want to get real jobs yet!!
Tell us the inspiration behind one of your latest creations, how did it come into behing and what do you love about it?
Anna and Jacq spend many hours stitching and bitching together and we see Yakety Knack as an excuse to sit down and have a jolly good chin wag with friends – that is how our Surprise Craft Evenings at the Southern Cross were born.
We are getting a lot of requests for the kits themselves so we thought that with Christmas coming up Craft 2.0 would be the place to launch our kits for sale.
We love that Yakety Knack is 10% Knack and 90% Yak – but the 10% is ever so important!!
Did you buy anything or swap anything at the last craft 2.0 and what was it?
Yakety Knack is brand spanking new and has not been seen at a craft fair or market before. Woohoo Craft 2.0 debut October 24th.
But Anna and Jacq have certainly bought their fair share of goodies at Craft 2.0 in the past.

What is your favourite place to craft?
Anna’s lounge. It is always lovely and warm with comfy chairs and a couple of crazy cats letting you know where and you can and can’t sit!! And it is much tidier than Jacq’s lounge and much much tidier than Jacq’s workroom!!
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given as a crafter?

What is your next project after Craft2.0?
We have another couple of Yakety Knack Surprise Craft Evenings at the Southern Cross before Thorndon Fair on the 6th of December.
What’s the best thing about being a crafter?
Being able to work around our kids is absolutely tops!!
What fabric is most like you?
A brightly printed, funky coloured, doubled sided, natural cotton with a neat design, which is extemely versatile!
