What will you be selling at Craft2.0?
Handbags, messenger bags, tote bags, reuseable notebook covers.

What keeps you crafting, what is it about craft that means you just can’t not craft?
I’m ever so slightly fabricoholic, so I have to keep making so I don’t disappear in swarthes of fabric! 0ther than that, I love the process of making. Of chosing fabrics, carefully cutting to make the most of the fabric design, and sewing to create a beautiful, unique end product. That gives me great satisfaction.
Tell us the inspiration behind one of your latest creations, how did it come into being and what do you love about it?
I’ve been experimenting with printing on to fabric recently, and looking for ways to work some of my husband’s photography into my bags. I really enjoy how they become a way of showcasing our beautiful landscapes in a practical, wearable way.

Did you buy anything or swap anything at the last craft 2.0 and what was it?
Every market I go to, I always come home with several new purchases. Recently I’ve bought earrings, a soft toy, a felt cuff, a wheat sack, art works…
I would be lost without my …..
sewing machine and iron.

What is your favourite place to craft?
I have a great workshop set up in my basement, with plenty of room for everything. It’s pretty good working down there, as I can immerse myself in my work.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given as a crafter?
Not to undervalue what I make.
What is your next project after Craft2.0?
I have a friend with a shop in town who is keen to stock my handbags, so I need to get busy sewing more of those!
What’s the best thing about being a crafter?
Having something to come home to at the end of my work day that allows me to be creative. Planning and executing a new idea really excites me!
What fabric is most like you?
Something bright and with a bit of body!
What part of wellington are you from, or if not from wellington where are you from?
I live perched on the side of the Western Hutt Hills
